THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND SKATE

Dear rockers, this was my look for today.
The main piece of this outfit was my NoFX Concert tshirt. I love this fucking punk band.
With this shirt I used my high-waist H&M bleached denim jeans, my black leathered jacket and my black double sole suede creepers.
With this outfit I wore my skull belt I bought back in a gothic store in Switzerland, and the same old silver accessories.

ANOURO JÓIAS | JEWELLERY PHOTOGRAPHY

Pendulum

Necklace

Ring

    Dear rockers,
I finally finished my Jewellery work today with some pictures of the store itself!
More than 600 pictures later, together with a promocional video, the work is complete and the photos of the pieces are now available on facebook!
The store is called Anouro Jóias, and the lady who runs it is my neighbour. She kindly asked me to picture all of her pieces to promote the store online.
From all the work I've done, this has been the most pleasent one. I'm not sure if it was due to her, because I already knew since a few years ago, or if it was because of the jewellery itself. Either way, this was a really great job I couldn't be more proud of.

SKOOL SUCKS

Dear rockers, this was my look for today.
Black skinny jeans, and black suede double sole creepers were the basic pieces, the main piece of this outfit was my DIY sweater. It's a male basic gray sweater I had cut, and wrote on it Skool Sucks. A bit of a rebellious attitute, yet trendy. The black hat was the final touch, together with the same silver accessories.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Ain't there something about Christmas Lights?
It's that time of the year when all those warm colors fill our insides, pouring upon our faces, letting us feel that calm and joyful Christmas spirit.
There's something no one can explain about these small stars that light us up on the inside, giving us that passionate feeling of this wonderful time of the year. Isn't it great to see our old cherished streets lightened up with all these magical wonders?
Here's a few pictures and a video I made about these fantastic loving lights.

SPREADING THE DISEASE

Dear rockers, this was my look for today.
There's a new detail in this outfit: my old 1m long metal chains.
As always, the black skinny pants with my black suede creepers, were gathered today with my Anthrax Spreading the Disease tshirt with an old Lee denim coat.
The chains and the black lipstick give this look a heavier essence. The kind of essence I feel most related with.

FREAK ON A LEASH

Dear rockers, this was my outfit for today.
I haven't posted anything on LOOKBOOK.nu for a while now, so I decided this was a good opportunity to do something about it.
As always I couldn't leave the black tone.
I wore my black leather army boots from Dr Martens, black skinny jeans, and a gray cotton coat with my new black leather motor coat.
I've always been a fan of Harley Davidson's, I wouldn't feel good if I didn't had a motobiker jacket like this. It's the perfect piece for every combination for the winter.

MISS NOTHING PHOTO SHOOT

Yesterday's meeting resulted in a colorful photo shoot.
Me and Marie Von-d Bacelar gathered with the model Carolina Batista to put up a grunge photo session.
Dark smoky eyes, ripped dark glass tights, and pink tone hair, were the main details that gave these photos such characteristic look.
First of all, Carolina had to lay on the floor so me and Marie could dye her hair in different shades of pink, first a light one, and then a darker one. After getting her hair dyed out, the next step was the make up. A small smoky shade on the edge of eye over a lighter shade of gray, and followed by black eyeliner with black lipstick made the entire outfit more outstanding. The clothing was (obviously) what gave this session a theme, ripped top a dark glass tights, with my ol' black Doc Martens, and nothing else.
More than 200 pictures from me and Marie were accomplished and so the photo shoot was beautifully made.

POLAROID SUPERCOLOR 635

About a week ago, I ordered from ebay a Polaroid Supercolor 635 LM that arrived today! Last week I got a few films to give it a try, and for as amazing as it seems, it's working perfectly (so far)!
«While conventional cameras were becoming more refined and sophisticated, an entirely new type of camera appeared on the market in 1948. This was the Polaroid Model 95, the world's first viable instant-picture camera. Known as a Land Camera after its inventor, Edwin Land, the Model 95 used a patented chemical process to produce finished positive prints from the exposed negatives in under a minute. The Land Camera caught on despite its relatively high price and the Polaroid lineup had expanded to dozens of models by the 1960s. The first Polaroid camera aimed at the popular market, the Model 20 Swinger of 1965, was a huge success and remains one of the top-selling cameras of all time.»
I guess I can say for sure, this was a really great purchase!

TATTOO&ROCK FESTIVAL

This weekend I went to the Tattoo&Rock Festival Nº8 2012, a huge convention of the most prestigious and famous tattooers in Portugal.
This festival was held in, what's in my opinion, the most perfect place this convention could have ever been held in: LX Factory! The old rotten walls couldn't have given it a more classic and characteristic ambience. The typical dark and mystic environment of this religion was perfectly described and embraced by this magical place and by all the people, either fans, tattooers, organization or curious minds. One of the most interesting things is that, even though this was an enviroment of a certain typical style, you could see all kinds of people walking around, from Pin Ups to Punks, from kids to old youngsters, everyone was enjoying it.
From male to female tattoers, I've never seen such wonderful pieces of work gathered together in one single room! I now understand how amazing it must be to share such beautiful art into someone's life.
This festival was well organized. We could count on lots of national and international professional tattoers, such as their supliers and merchandise.
There were also several contests to entertain the audience such as the Miss Pin Up Contest,
the Best Tattoo Contest: Best Back Piece, Best of Day, Best Colour, Best Black&Grey, Best New & Best Old School, Best of Show.
We could also count on several musical artists such as: Swinging, Tripping & Rocking - Paulo Furtado (Legendary Tiger Man, Wraygun, ex. Tédio Boys), Nevermind the Trollocks, Here’s João Ribas (Tara Perdida, Kamones, ex. Censurados), e Welcome to The Tattoo & Rock Festival com António Freitas (Antena 3 Rock).
To conclude, it's with great pleasure that I say that this was a wonderful evening I spent surrounded by all kinds of Art in Ink!

#3 ANXIETY: FINAL TOUCH

The third day's gone and the results were pretty amazing!
Even though I invited lots of friends to visit, only 7 showed up, but for my own surprise, thanks to all other artists, more than 300 people attended that exhibition!
My work was highly complimented, such as my guts to post something so different. People showed interest in my work, and I just can't tell how many people congratulated me! There are no words to describe how wonderful it felt to see so many unknown people enjoying my pictures, I just can't wait for the next exhibition!
It was one of the best experiences I've ever had, and I just can't thank enough to those who invited me to join such fantastic group of artists!
To show you a piece of the environment I made a small video now available on youtube!
    Watch, rate, comment & subscribe!

#2 ANXIETY: 1ST DAY

The first day of the exhibition Mostra de Arte! is gone and the second starts in a few hours.
I've been getting really good feedback but I just can't get as exited as most of the people there.
The preparation took a while , but I guess the hardest part was at the end when I was dead tired and had stay there untill the very end.
Today starts in a few hours with the same 8 canvas hanging in the wall with so many people starring at them while whispering, killing me of curiosity.
    Second day... Here we go!

#1 ANXIETY

Today I visited for the first time the room where the exhibition is gonna placed.
Fresh painted, it's a big and wide room tipically decorated as cellar, smelling like the old wet dirt from the winter arrival.
I wasn't very excited at first, but now that I realize the date is getting closer, I confess a little bug is starting to grow.
How about setting things up for a big show? I'm off to buy the canvas for my wall, and I shall be back soon.

DUALITY

This time I left the black for a bit ... but not for too long!
This outfit is super casual. The dark green is, in my opinion, the color that fits me better (except black). I found this wool sweater while shopping for 10€ and I just had to get it.
The large ripped denim jeans give this outfit a relaxed style, followed by the black suede creepers, and black bonnet with the same acessories as usual.
Since the green of my hair is getting e little bit washed out, it's almost the same tone as the green of the sweater.

IN THE STUDIO

For quite a long time I've been wondering how I'd love to have my studio, and finally, the opportunity came along.
I've been discussing with my mom how should I do it, and where, so we reached a conclusion. I could close a room in my own house, paint the walls, and make it my own! So finally, a few years later, my little white cocoon is coming to live!
My biggest passion (in photography) is picturing portraits. There's somthing about each person essence that drags me into looking at them through a little pinhole and capturing it as it is, or as I can see it through my own eyes.
I guess I'm mostly happy for seeing a dream coming true, but none of this would have happened if it weren't for all of the support I've been getting from my Family, Friends and Fans! So, I guess I can't thank you all enough for this. It's just an overwhelming feeling so see all of this coming to live! And also, a big thank you to all of my haters for never believing in me and yet for making my name being heard so loud, here's a big round of applause for you sad people!
To all of you: thank you!

BLACK SKULL

One other thing that I've always been in love with since I can remember is skulls.
On the other day my boyfriend gave me this most wonderful cotton shirt with a skull on it! And what's better to combine a black shirt than black?
Black shirt, black skinny jeans, black suede creepers, and black leathered spiked bracelets.
Can't get tired of black... I guess!

OVERWHELMING MOVING FRAMES

I'm late for a meeting with my bed since I have to catch up with time by 05h00am in the morning, but the enthusiasm of editing a film frame by frame is keeping me awake.
I can't tell you how overwhelming it feels to see so many frames captured by a second, and moving them according to my will. The colors, the contrast, the motion, the dance with sounds and details, it's all just a big romance between me and the art of a moving photo.
For my class of audiovisuals I have to make a film -- thank god we can choose to make it about whatever we feel like -- but I'm just too exacited about it, so I started the filmings today starring my boyfriend Leander Sandmeier as the main character of a sad story.
I wish I could just tell you every single detail but I don't want to ruin the surprise, so let's just give a bit 'till the project is complete, shall we? But I guess I can say: there's no stronger soundtrack than a powerful Metallica song!

LAB RAT

Just like I promised, I'm gonna share everything with you, so here it is: my first lab test.
For a long while ago I was sure for certain that photography was what I wanted to live for. Either as a job or a hobbie, it just had to be as present as my need to breathe.
I've always been in love with photography. I live it so much sometimes I feel like time is slowing down and I can see the entire world frame by frame.
There's something magical about that red lighted basement filled with that chemical atmosphere that attracts me so much, and mostly about that small piece of white ambition floating on that liquid chemical that brings us millions of results in our mind even before those unknown painful seconds can lead us to the rewaring ending.
Brace yourselves, I'm about to become a lab rat.

HIGHWAY TO HELL

Ever since forever I remember being in love with silver spikes.
Last week I went to the mall and found these magnificent black silver spiked shorts. Black is a color that fits better the most in every single occasion, and it has been my favorite color for ages now.
In this outfit I wore these black shorts with a grey cotton AC/DC shirt from Topshop I bought in Prague, and to gather them, I picked my black sueded creepers with ripped black glass tights.
As always, I'm wearing the same accessories, two black leathered silver spiked bracelets, a long silver necklace my boyfriend gave me with a rollerblade bearing he won in a championship, and a golden skulled ring he also gave me.

TENNESSEE WHISKEY

This is one of the outfits I like the most for certain.
The green army pattern from the skinny jeans is the key (or the "heart") of this outfit. With this piece you can make thousands of different styles, giving it new looks and without getting tired of it. The camouflage pattern is what calls my attention the most. Like all of the trends, they come and go, and this severe trend from the late 60's/70's is now back and stylish to the XXI century with elegant golden nails.
The good thing about these pants is that almost anything can fit perfectly with it, so I picked my L sized Jack Daniel's tshirt, with a black top underneath.
To gather this outfit I picked my black Creepers and also my ripped vintage denim vest.
And as always, to follow the clothes, the same black leathered silver spikes, and the long straight green edged hair.

UNDERGROUND

This is one of the outfits I feel most confortable with.
I've been in love with these double sole Creepers since the first time I saw them. The 5cm sole gives an underground look to the entire outfit.
With this alternative footwear and black skinny pants, I gathered a black Best Of The Beast Iron Maiden shirt, and a ripped vintage denim vest to complete this alternative look.
The black spiked leather bracelets are the cherry on top of the cake, and what's better for a final touch than the long straight green edged hair?

RAINING BLOOD

This is one of the styles I feel most comfortable with. Some call it grunge some call trashy - how fun would it be if someone would start calling it grashy, or trunge? Nevermind me and my late-night-nonsense...
This is a simple cheap outfit, and yet really outstanding.
It's composed my nothing more than a simple autentic german army coat, a large Slayer t-shirt, some bleached cutted denim shorts, dark/black glass tights and my old black Dr Martens army boots.

Music has always been a big part of my life since I was born, and I've always been a metal lover with a closet full of official merchandise of all kinds, so any band t-shirt I'd wear would show how much I love that kind of music. It kinda feels like I wear the music I listen to.
The army coat was originaly owned by a german soldier. I found this coat at the flea market, real cheap. What feels more comfortable about it is that I end wearing a something with a story behind it. It is a kind of strict piece of outerwear, so I turned the sleeves out in order to make it look more loose or sloppy.
The ripped denim short gives a rest to all that heavy kind of stuff, and it's what gives the outfit a bit of that trashy look. That also happens with the kinda-ripped-on-the-side black glass tights.
To end in style, what else but those Dr Martens army boots? They fit perfectly with the army coat, and the Slayer army skull t-shirt, and go perfectly with those dark shadows from the tights.

I love this outfit cause I feel comfortable with it and I end up expressing how I am at the same time.
What else do I fucking need?
